Community Programs
The Saginaw Police Department is dedicated to providing a variety of services to our community. That commitment to service was strengthened in 2008 with the addition of a Citizens Police Academy (CPA) and again in 2018 when we introduced the Junior Police Academy. Our Community Services Unit is responsible for:- Conducting home and business inspections
- Coordinating events such as:
- Citizens Police Academy
- Junior Police Academy
- National Night Out
- Neighborhood Watch
- Safety Fairs
- DEA Drug Take Back
- Establishing crime prevention initiatives within the city
